Albert I. Alexander, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Alexander earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University and his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Vanderbilt University Affiliated Hospitals and held a Research Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Alexander completed his residency training at Vanderbilt University Affiliated Hospitals and Baystate Medical Center. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts Medical School and a member of Sigma Xi, the National Research Honor Society. Dr. Alexander is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Michael P. Albert, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Albert graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston College with a B.S. degree in Biology, and earned Phi Beta Kappa honors. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, and completed his internship and residency training at Baystate Medical Center. Dr. Albert was on active duty with the U.S. Air Force as Chief of Surgery at Plattsburg Air Force Base Hospital in New York from 1988-1991. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts Medical School and has been recognized for excellence in teaching the medical students and residents. Aside from his clinical practice in surgery, Dr. Albert is also the Medical Director of the operating room at Baystate Medical Center. Dr. Albert is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Interests are in breast and hernia surgery, which he has published in both fields.

Viriato M. Fiallo, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Fiallo graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Universidad National Pedro Henriques Urena in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He completed his residency training at Baystate Medical Center where he also earned two Research Fellowships. Dr. Fiallo served as Director of the Burn Unit and the Wesson Surgical Clinic, both at Baystate Medical Center. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Tufts Medical School. Dr. Fiallo is a member of The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and The Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), and the American Society of Bariatric Surgery (ASBS). Dr. Fiallo is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Fiallo specializes in Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery.

Burritt L. Haag III, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Haag has earned his undergraduate degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology and received his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Haag completed his surgical training at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital in New York, NY and completed an Advanced Laparoscopy Fellowship at Hackensack University Medical Center, in Hackensack, NJ. While completing his fellowship Dr. Haag’s primary focus was in the area of Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Haag is a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the American Society of Bariatric Surgery (ASBS) and Dr.Haag is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
